Rebecca grew up in Vienna, VA after her family returned to the U.S. following an overseas deployment with the Foreign Service. From a young age, she was actively involved in both school and community activities—a spirit of engagement that continues today. After earning her degrees from Marymount University in 2007 and again in 2012, she chose to stay in the area she loves.

In 2016, Rebecca and her husband made their home in Lees Corner, where they are committed to being positive, engaged members of the community as their children—ages 23, 12, and 6—complete their education. She and her kids enjoy participating in sports, Scouts, camps, environmental initiatives, and community service projects.

Professionally, Rebecca boasts a comprehensive background encompassing psychology, human resources, and organizational development. Her diverse career trajectory includes impactful roles within the U.S. Army, various for-profit corporations, and dedicated non-profit organizations.

Currently, Rebecca works full-time. In her role she fosters professional growth and optimizes talent strategies. Beyond her professional commitments, Rebecca is also furthering her academic pursuits, currently enrolled in the Human Behavior program at the Harvard Extension School, demonstrating her commitment to continuous learning and deeper understanding of human dynamics.

Rebecca is also deeply committed to community engagement and volunteerism. She previously contributed her time as an Alumni Board Member for her high school’s scholarship program, helping to shape the future of aspiring students. This multifaceted professional and volunteer experience underscores Rebecca’s dedication to both personal and organizational development, as well as her profound commitment to serving others.

Rebecca’s experience has equipped her with strong organizational skills, a solid foundation in project management, and a heartfelt passion for supporting the Lees Corner school community. She’s learned how to juggle competing priorities while keeping things moving forward.

Now with the school year in full swing, Rebecca looks forward to connecting with families, Lees Corner staff, and local community businesses—whether over coffee, tea, or a shared story.
